Common Sense Trading is a family-owned and operated international importer, manufacturer, exporter and distributor of speciality and gourmet ingredients — serving Australia, Indonesia and markets around the world.

We exist to connect farmers directly to larger markets — maximising their global reach and profit, while giving buyers a real connection to the growers and full visibility across the supply chain.

Working hand-in-hand with cooperatives of small-scale farmers across Bali and greater Indonesia, we invest personally in quality, infrastructure and long-term partnerships. Every kilo we ship is fully traceable, ethically priced, and built on years of trust.

About Us
Founded by farmers, baristas, and believers in better trade.
Common Sense was founded by Aaron and Yeni Lagias — sharing a vision for transparent, ethical trade from the ground up. What began with vanilla now spans coffee, cacao, a wholefoods market, café, roastery and a farmer-led innovation hub.
We're grounded in Indonesia — and connected to the world.
Coming Next
Learning Centre & Innovation Hub, Tabanan.
The next phase of our journey: a central campus in Tabanan, Bali for farmer education, on-farm processing, food lab & co-packing space, and a Material Innovation Centre converting cacao husk waste into sustainable building materials. Not a side project — a core part of the mission, creating lasting, scalable change at the village level.
